About Augusta, MO - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Augusta is located in St. Charles CountyMissouri along the bluffs of the scenic Missouri River Valley approximately thirty-five miles west of the city of St. Louis.  Home to a population of just over three hundred, the citizens of Augusta enjoy the small-town atmosphere and rural charm of this tight-knit, family community.  Augusta was founded in 1836 by Leonard Harold who came to the area from Kentucky with Daniel Boone.  The city was incorporated in 1855 and grew into the burgeoning agriculture and farming community that it still is today.  The rejuvenation of the region’s wine industry brought new tourism to the area and spurred the emergence of numerous new businesses and bed and breakfast establishments that continue to drive the city’s economy.

Augusta has a continental climate that brings a change of weather with the changing seasons. With the hot, humid temperatures of summer, and the cold, occasionally snowy weather of winter, Augusta is a lovely place to be any season of the year!

For more history on the area, visitors will enjoy the Augusta Historic Museum located in the 19th century home of German immigrants that is one of seven homes in the city listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  A favorite pastime for residents and visitors alike is the Katy Trail State Park, which features a 225-mile recreational hiking and biking trail that follows the corridor of the former Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad.  The majority of the trail follows along the northern bank of the Missouri River and is open year-round to joggers, hikers, and cyclists.  For golfing enthusiasts, the city of Augusta has the Boone Valley Golf Club, which features an eighteen-hole championship golf course that was rated “No. 1 in Missouri” for 2011 by Golf Digest.  And, for wine lovers, the city proudly presents the Augusta Winery and Bethlehem Valley Winery, both located within the confines of the city.

This small-town community with so much to offer is undoubtedly the pride and joy of its dedicated, hard-working citizens!
