About St. Clair, MO - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

St. Clair is located in Franklin County, in the east-central section of the state of Missouri approximately 45 minutes southwest of the city of St. Louis.  The city was founded in 1859 by William Kerr who named it after a railroad engineer with the surname of Saint Clair.  With a current population of around 4,500 and an economy based primarily in manufacturing and agriculture, St. Clair is experiencing a positive growth trend as more and more citizens and businesses are relocating to the area.

The city of St. Clair sponsors several parks and recreational areas, including Orchard Park, the host of the city’s annual Freedom Festival and Fireworks Show.  Park amenities include multiple sports fields, handball and basketball courts, a trail for walking and jogging, picnic and playground areas, and a stage for outdoor performances.  Evergreen Park is located on approximately sixteen acres of city parkland and features a nature trail, basketball court, shuffleboard deck, and playground equipment.  Evergreen is home to the St. Clair Red Raiders who are a travelling youth baseball team that uses the facilities of Veteran’s Field located on the park grounds.

Community activities are important in the city of St. Clair.  Main Street Park, centrally located in the city’s downtown business district, plays host to local musicians and merchants every weekend for festivities and commercial events.

Sports and recreation play a vital role in the community in St. Clair.  The St. Clair High School football team has achieved several notable successes in recent years.  The team made appearances in the Missouri State Semi-Finals in 1987 and 2004 and were the winners of three district titles in 2002, 2004, and 2005.  Former player and student Justin Skaggs went on to play Arena Football and for the National Football League following his high school career.

Not to be outdone, the high school basketball team made two consecutive appearances in the State Quarterfinals in 2007 and 2008 and the baseball team placed third in the State Finals in 1999.  However, the St. Clair track team topped them all with their first place finish in the 2009 Missouri State Track Championship!

With its relaxed, small town atmosphere, indomitable spirit, and awesome community pride, St. Clair offers the perfect community for young singles, couples, growing families, and retirees, all!
