About St. Wildwood, MO, - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Wildwood is located in the far western portion of St. Louis County approximately thirty-minutes west of the city of St. Louis.  The city was created through a five-year effort that was funded and directed by future residents and resulted in the Missouri Supreme Court decision to allow the residents of an unincorporated portion of St. Louis County to vote on the creation of a new municipality.  The overwhelming approval of the voters resulted in the incorporation of the city of Wildwood, Missouri on September 1, 1995.  With a population of more than 35,000, Wildwood continues to flourish and is guided by the city’s philosophy of "Planning Tomorrow Today."

Wildwood enjoys a seasonal continental climate that brings about changes to the weather with the changing of the seasons.  With hot, humid summers and cold, occasionally snowy winters, Wildwood is beautiful any time of the year!

For outdoor fun and recreation, check out some of the parks located in and around the city.  The Al Foster Trail begins in Wildwood and consists of an eight-foot wide pedestrian and bicycle trail of crushed stone that continues for 4.5 miles along the bluffs and bottomland of the Meramec River.  Other parks in the area include the Dr. Edward A. Babler Memorial State Park, Greensfelder County Park, and Rockwoods Reservation with features that include overnight camping, trails for hiking and bicycle riding, birdwatching, picnicking, and horseback riding.

The Wildwood Historical Society was founded in 1999.  The mission of the Society is to discover historical facts, objects, and artifacts relative to the city of Wildwood and to preserve and present them for public exhibit.  Historic properties under the care of the Society include the Andrew J. Kern House, built in 1898, and the old Glencoe Post Office, circa 1871.

The city of Wildwood is a dynamic, young community of past meets present that has its eye firmly focused on the pathway to tomorrow!
